The flowers are absolutely beautiful. I wish the roses weren’t so fully opened as I suspect they won’t last long. One reason I went directly with a local florist not far from my sister’s house is because I thought I would get exactly what I chose. So often when I’ve ordered with a 1-800-Flowers or the like, items are oftentimes substituted with something other than what I chose. In this case I actually chose an arrangement based on the vase, which had hummingbirds on it. My sister loves hummingbirds and I knew they would put a smile on her face. However what she got was a plain purple vase, no hummingbirds. While it was a pretty enough vase, it wasn’t what I was hoping to get. I am deducting one star for that reason.
